Promoting Behavioral Health in the Uintah Basin since 1997<\/p>\n<\/div>[vc_column_text]Northeastern Counseling Center, founded in July 1997, emerged from an interlocal agreement among the Daggett, Duchesne, and Uintah County Boards. Originally known as Uintah Basin Counseling, we have been at the forefront of mental health and substance abuse services in Northeastern Utah since the mid-1980s.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]

Dependence on alcohol and drugs is a serious public concern. It is prevalent among rich and poor, in all regions of the country, and in all ethnic and social groups. We address this health issue with comprehensive treatment programs that also support affected families. We also focus on substance abuse prevention by raising awareness across Duchesne, Uintah, and Daggett Counties. <\/p>\n<\/div>[vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_toggle title=”What is the process to come in for therapy?”]Come into one of our offices in Roosevelt or Vernal, and fill out some <\/span>paperwork<\/span><\/a>. Once the <\/span>paperwork<\/span><\/a> is completed and reviewed, we can schedule an appointment with a therapist for the evaluation appointment.<\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”How much does it cost?”]We work with most insurance companies. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. We offer a sliding fee scale which will be based on a person’s family size and income. Please provide proof of income for the prior month to be considered for a reduced fee.[\/vc_toggle][\/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1\/2″][vc_toggle title=”Do you provide therapy for small children?”]Yes we do. The parents are involved a lot for young children and instructed on how to work with the child.<\/span>[\/vc_toggle][vc_toggle title=”Do you take insurance?”]We work with most insurance companies. Every plan is different, to get the most accurate information about your policy call your insurance carrier’s number listed on the back of your insurance card. They can tell you how much they cover and what your co-pay will be. Mental Health co-pays are usually different from co-pays for a medical\/specialist.
