Frequently Asked Questions

What is the process to come in for therapy?

Come into one of our offices in Roosevelt or Vernal, and fill out some paperwork. Once the paperwork is completed and reviewed, we can schedule an appointment with a therapist for the evaluation appointment.

How much does it cost?

We work with most insurance companies. No one will be denied access to services due to inability to pay. We offer a sliding fee scale which will be based on a person’s family size and income. Please provide proof of income for the prior month to be considered for a reduced fee.

Do you take insurance?

We work with most insurance companies. Every plan is different. To get the most accurate information about your policy, call your insurance carrier’s number listed on the back of your insurance card. They can tell you how much they cover and what your co-pay will be. Mental Health co-pays are usually different from co-pays for medical or specialists. Most insurance companies require a pre-authorization before receiving services for Mental Health or Substance Abuse.

Do you provide therapy for small children?

Yes we do. The parents are involved a lot for young children and instructed on how to work with the child.

Do you provide Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD, or AD/HD, or ADD) testing?

The Therapist will refer the client for testing if it is determined that it is needed after the evaluation.

Do you provide drug testing?

Northeastern Counseling does not do drug testing or UA’s.

Do you dispense Methadone for addiction?
